Chick Fil A Recalls Polynesian Sauce Due To Wheat And Soy Allergen Contamination

Chick-fil-A, the renowned fast-food chain, has issued a recall on its popular Polynesian sauce across certain states following a potential contamination with wheat and soy allergens.

The alert was prompted by an incident where Polynesian sauce dipping cups were mistakenly filled with sriracha sauce, which contains wheat and soy, by a supplier.

According to a spokesperson for Chick-fil-A, the affected dipping cups were distributed in their restaurants between February 14 and February 27, 2024.

As a precautionary measure, the company has advised customers to discard any Polynesian sauce dipping cups received during this period.

Chick-fil-A has also activated its customer helpline at (866) 232-2040 for any inquiries related to the recall.

Polynesian sauce, known for its sweet and tangy flavor, is a long-standing favorite among Chick-fil-A patrons and has been a fixture on the menu for four decades.

The recall is limited to the dipping cups served in restaurants and does not affect the bottled Polynesian sauce sold in stores.

Individuals with wheat and soy allergies are urged to be cautious and dispose of any potentially contaminated products to avoid adverse reactions.

For more information, customers can contact Chick-fil-A CARES at 1 (866)-232-2040 for assistance and support.
