LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Chris Pratt recently expressed his willingness to reprise his role as Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) but noted that the timing would need to be right. During an interview with an unnamed outlet, Pratt mentioned the potential complexity due to previous commitments from James Gunn, the director and co-writer behind some of Marvel’s most popular films.

“I would love to do it with James [Gunn],” Pratt said. “He’s got a conflict of interest that makes that impossible at the moment… I’m open to anything, but it would have to be great storytelling.”
