Christina Haack Josh Hall Divorce Court Hearing

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Christina Haack, star of HGTV‘s ‘Flip or Flop,’ revealed that her divorce from estranged husband Josh Hall is headed to trial after mediation attempts failed. The reality TV star made the announcement during a Jan. 12 appearance on Sirius XM‘s ‘Jeff Lewis Live,’ stating, ‘We’re going to be going to trial, I hear. He doesn’t want to do mediation. It’s going to be fun, can’t wait.’

Haack, 40, and Hall, 43, filed for divorce in July 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. The split has since escalated into a contentious legal battle, with both parties making public accusations and financial demands. Haack claimed she has been financially supportive of Hall, who she says does not have a job but drives a Bentley. ‘I gave him money to live, and then he bought a Bentley,’ she said. ‘But he drives a Bentley, so I’m sure he’s pulling a lot of chicks.’

Hall, a realtor, has denied Haack’s claims, calling her legal filings ‘lies and assumptions.’ In a statement shared on Instagram, he wrote, ‘Pretty sure making provably false statements to a judge is unethical.’ The couple’s financial disputes have been a recurring issue, with Haack accusing Hall of transferring $35,000 from her bank account to his personal account one day after their divorce filing.

Haack also addressed their strained relationship during her appearance on ‘Jeff Lewis Live,’ stating, ‘We don’t get along, there’s no getting along. Have you ever seen how I go after him on social? No. Anyways, yeah, we don’t get along.’ The tension spilled over onto social media earlier this week when Haack called out Hall for his ‘narcissism’ in a scathing Instagram post. Hall’s representative had previously criticized Haack for using ‘low blows’ to promote her new show.

Despite the ongoing legal drama, both Haack and Hall have moved on with new partners. Hall recently posted a birthday tribute to model Stephanie Gabrys on Instagram, seemingly confirming their relationship. Haack, meanwhile, is reportedly dating Christopher Larocca, CEO and President of Network Connex.

This marks Haack’s third divorce. She was previously married to Tarek El Moussa, with whom she shares two children, and Ant Anstead, with whom she shares a son. Hall, who married Haack in 2021, has requested spousal support in the divorce proceedings, a move Haack has called ‘outrageous.’ Her legal team argued in court documents that Hall is ‘self-supporting’ and has no need for financial assistance.

As the trial date approaches, Haack expressed her frustration with the public nature of the divorce. ‘I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for,’ Hall wrote on Instagram earlier this year. However, with both parties airing their grievances publicly, it appears the courtroom will be the final battleground for their tumultuous split.
