As the holiday season approaches, television networks and streaming platforms are gearing up to offer a wide array of Christmas movies and TV specials for 2024. AMC is set to air several classics, including “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation 35th Anniversary” at 7 p.m. and 11:15 p.m., along with “Elf” at 9:15 p.m..

Freeform will feature a marathon of beloved holiday films, such as “Home Alone,” “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” and “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Other notable mentions include “Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You” and “Arthur Christmas“.

Lifetime is also joining in the festive spirit with original movies like “Miracle in Motor City,” “The Holiday Proposal Plan,” and “Kirk Franklin’s The Night Before Christmas”.

In addition to these TV specials, a new Christmas movie titled “Finding Christmas” is set to captivate audiences. Directed by Bridget Smith, the film follows Mikey Finnegan, a 17-year-old who, after a Christmas Eve attack, travels back to Bethlehem guided by a Guardian Angel to find baby Jesus and return home.

On the charitable front, Band Aid is releasing a 2024 Ultimate Mix of their iconic song “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to continue their tradition of raising funds for those in need. This new version is part of the #BandAid40 campaign and features contributions from various artists and producers).
