KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Regal Cineworld Group announced today the appointment of Adam Rymer as the new Chief Commercial Officer for the U.S. Rymer, a prominent figure in the technology, media, and entertainment sectors, brings over 20 years of experience to the role, which has been newly established to enhance Regal’s commercial strategy.

In his new position, Rymer will spearhead initiatives related to food and beverage, box office pricing, sales, and marketing aimed at driving revenue growth and optimizing profitability across Regal’s extensive theatre network. He will also oversee the company’s U.S. film and content team.

Group CEO Eduardo Acuna expressed confidence in Rymer’s diverse background, stating, “Adam’s career to date offers a rare blend of experience both within our industry and in adjacent industries that can lend something new to our business. Rymer joins Regal from Reason Advisory, where he served as President. His role involved collaborating with companies across various sectors including digital media, film, television, gaming, and music, focusing on consumer behavior and evolving business models.

Prior to Reason Advisory, Rymer held significant positions such as President of Legendary Entertainment’s Digital Networks, Senior Vice President of Digital Platforms at Universal Pictures, and COO and CFO of Lava Bear Films. He also recently served as CEO of OpTic Gaming, showcasing his versatility and leadership within the industry.

Rymer possesses strong analytical skills with an undergraduate degree from Harvard in Applied Mathematics and Economics, and an MBA in Finance from The University of Pennsylvania‘s Wharton School. He has worked extensively in strategic planning and business development, enhancing team performances across marketing, partnerships, and business affairs.
