Cleveland Weather Forecast Rain

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – After a brief reprieve from rain, Cleveland residents can expect rain to return on Friday. An area of low pressure is moving through the Ohio Valley into Central Appalachia, which will bring scattered showers throughout the day.

Daytime rain will be most likely along the Route 30 corridor, although Cleveland itself might see little to no rain during the day. The cloud cover will keep temperatures cooler, with highs expected to be in the 60s Friday afternoon.

As a cold front approaches on Friday evening, scattered showers may drift across the area. This may impact events like the Guardians game and the Dave Matthews Band concert at Blossom.

This cold front will also usher in significantly cooler temperatures for the weekend, with Saturday seeing some areas struggle to reach the 50s amidst high winds. Sunday, June 1, is forecasted to be slightly warmer with highs in the upper 60s.

While most of the weekend will be dry, some showers could occur early Saturday morning. Following the weekend, temperatures are expected to rise again next week, potentially reaching the 80s.

For Friday, expect scattered showers and possibly a few storms, with clouds lingering overhead. The high will be around 70 degrees. Saturday is likely to feature a few brief thunderstorms early on before conditions dry out, with a cooler high of 61 degrees. Sunday will bring more sun and milder temperatures, reaching 66 degrees.
