Following the announcement of CNN and ABC News serving as hosts for upcoming presidential debates, the moderators have been confirmed. Joe Biden and Donald Trump are the centerpieces for these debates.

Set for September 10th, the ABC News debate will be moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis. Meanwhile, the first debate is earlier than usual, scheduled for June 27 on CNN, with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash as moderators.

The participation of Biden and Trump in these debates provides a unique perspective for viewers, considering the ongoing political dynamics.

Another debate likely to happen involves VP Kamala Harris and Trump’s running mate. CBS offered to host the debate, although Trump’s agreement is still pending.

Several prominent figures like Kathleen Hall Jamieson and Julian Zelizer have weighed in on the significance of these debates for the political landscape.

Jen Psaki, a former Biden press secretary, expressed some skepticism about the debates’ certainty, stating that Trump’s final approval is still pending.
