Channel 5 is set to bring back the gripping drama series ‘Cold Call‘ for a repeat broadcast, captivating audiences once again with its thrilling storyline.

The show, which originally aired in 2019, follows the struggles of June Clarke, portrayed by Sally Lindsay, who becomes ensnared in a telephone scam at a vulnerable moment in her life.

Joining Lindsay in the cast are talented actors such as Daniel Ryan, Taj Atwal, Paul Higgins, and Melanie Kilburn, each adding depth and intensity to the narrative.

The series kicks off with June, a dedicated carer facing financial hardship, selling her home only to fall victim to a fraudulent cold call that robs her of the proceeds.

Determined to seek justice, June embarks on a quest for answers, eventually crossing paths with Des Grigsby, played by Daniel Ryan, who leads her to the enigmatic Kirk Wiley, portrayed by Paul Higgins.

As June delves deeper into the intricate web of deceit surrounding Wiley’s empire, she uncovers shocking secrets within his family, including his mother Sophie, portrayed by Melanie Kilburn.

With each episode packed with suspense and revelations, ‘Cold Call’ weaves a compelling narrative that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats, questioning how far June will go to reclaim what was stolen from her.

The repeat broadcast of ‘Cold Call’ is set to air on Channel 5, with the first episode scheduled for Monday, 17th June 2024, at 9pm.
