Orlando Weather Black Friday

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is bracing for a significant drop in temperatures as cold air moves in for Black Friday. Meteorologist Noah Bergren from FOX 35 Storm Team is tracking this chilly weather front.

The skies will clear rapidly tonight, leading to northwest winds that will contribute to the cooler conditions expected. On Friday, temperatures are projected to dip to a low of 45 degrees, making it a breezy and cold day.

During the day on Black Friday, expect mostly sunny skies but cooler temperatures, with a high reaching only 63 degrees. This is about 15 degrees below the typical norm for this time of year. Alachua County has already issued a freeze watch, signifying the severity of the cold snap.

As cooler weather sets in, the conditions will briefly resemble mid-winter before warmer air returns later in the weekend. By Saturday, temperatures are expected to warm into the low 70s, progressing to the low 80s from Sunday through Wednesday.

Looking ahead to early next week, a stronger weather front could provide the best chance for organized rain in a region experiencing worsening drought. This system may bring some showers and storms from Monday to Tuesday.

For travelers heading north to Michigan, it’s important to stay informed about weather conditions as six blizzard warnings are in effect for areas including Alger County, Keweenaw County, Marquette County, and Ashland County. These warnings could last until 10 a.m. in some locations. Additionally, another weather system is expected to impact Omaha and Chicago this weekend.

Stay tuned for further updates as the weather continues to evolve.
