Comerica Park Food Offerings

Baseball fans heading to Comerica Park for the American League Division Series (ALDS) will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of new, fall-inspired food and drink offerings. These items were recently announced by Delaware North, the company responsible for catering services at the park. “We’re excited to bring these locally inspired dishes and drinks to Comerica Park for the ALDS,” said Joe Slomski, Delaware North’s general manager at the venue, in a news release. “Our goal is to enhance the fan experience by offering flavors that reflect the city of Detroit and the excitement of postseason baseball.”

The food and drink lineup features a blend of local favorites and creative twists on classic ballpark fare. Among the new offerings is a creation by Taqueria El Rey, a local restaurant renowned for its hand-carved, marinated pork tacos served on corn tortillas with fresh cilantro and onions. Srodek’s Campau Quality Sausage Co. is introducing its coney-inspired pierogi, which includes a savory filling of coney sauce, hot dog, onions, and a choice of toppings.

Adding a sweet touch to the menu, Armada-based Blake’s Farms will offer cinnamon sugar cider doughnuts and a doughnut sundae. The sundae comprises three cider doughnuts piled with soft-serve ice cream. For a premium food experience, the park will offer a USDA prime filet sandwich served with arugula, garlic butter, balsamic onions, and smoked gouda on a sesame seed roll, accompanied by kettle chips.

One of the unique items bound to catch attention is the Tigers Red Hot, a hot dog garnished with cabbage slaw, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and house-made smoked ranch. Sweet treats continue with horchata and tres leches cake available at the Miller Lite Market.

Fans with tickets can also visit the Motor City Casino Tiger Club, which offers a buffet for $47 per person, with reservations required. The buffet presents a selection of dishes including shrimp cocktails, salads, pasta, the Detroit-favorite coney dog, and chef’s specials like lavender-crusted New York strip steak and house porchetta with apple cider glaze.

Beverage highlights include a bourbon or spiced rum cocktail mixed with apple cider, served in a commemorative ALDS cup, and a special fall-inspired drink offered at the Tiger Club featuring bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup, and ginger beer. A festive cocktail served in a Tigers-branded pumpkin rounds out the drink offerings, combining bourbon, spiced pumpkin syrup, fresh-squeezed clementine, Sriracha, and bitters.
