Ice Spice Cleotrapa Y2k Tour

Ice Spice, a rising star in the music industry known for hits such as “Munch” and “Barbie World,” has been embroiled in a new controversy with fellow artist Cleotrapa during their recent Y2K Tour.

Cletorapa, a New York-based artist who gained attention with tracks like “Rockstar” and “Von Dutch,” expressed dissatisfaction regarding her treatment while touring with Ice Spice. In a social media video, she accused Ice Spice of being a “fake friend” and allegedly including her on the tour to manage fallout from a prior issue involving Nicki Minaj.

In her video, Cleotrapa detailed her grievances, noting that she was not paid for her performances, had to cover her own accommodation expenses, and faced logistical challenges during the tour. Additionally, she pointed out that she discovered she did not have a separate dressing room while in New York, unlike other artists.

Cleotrapa labeled Ice Spice a “soulless person” and commented on her perceived lack of support. In response, Ice Spice addressed these accusations during a live stream, denying the claims and asserting that she attempted to help Cleotrapa throughout the tour.

Ice Spice further suggested that Cleotrapa’s complaints stemmed from feelings of entitlement. Her manager, James Rosemond Jr., also commented, describing Cleotrapa as a “clout chaser” in a now-deleted post.

Meanwhile, Azealia Banks has publicly defended Cleotrapa, criticizing how the latter has been portrayed on social media. Banks announced that Cleotrapa would be performing alongside her in a future concert, where she assured that Cleotrapa would be treated with respect and properly compensated.

In her remarks, Banks expressed discontent about Ice Spice’s manager and his comments regarding Cleotrapa. She stated that he was attempting to undermine Cleotrapa’s concerns and advised him to focus on Ice Spice’s career instead.

This ongoing dispute between Ice Spice and Cleotrapa highlights not only the challenges faced by emerging artists touring together but also the complexities of the entertainment industry.
