Brock Purdy Nfl Performance

Santa Clara, California – The Iowa State Cyclones showed off their talents in the NFL last weekend as several former players made significant impacts on the field. Brock Purdy returned from injury, and several Cyclones secured their first career touchdowns during Week Four of the NFL season.

Purdy, the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, made his return on Sunday after missing two weeks due to a toe injury. In a hard-fought loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Purdy completed 22 of 38 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns. He now has 11 games with over 300 passing yards in his career.

“It felt great to be back on the field,” said Purdy. “I’m just focused on getting better every week.” The 49ers are set to play against the Los Angeles Rams this Thursday night in a prime-time matchup.

Meanwhile, Cyclones players like Tyler Higbee of the Houston Texans made headlines by scoring his first NFL touchdown. He caught a 24-yard pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud in the Texans’ 26-0 victory over the Tennessee Titans. “Making that catch meant the world to me,” said Higbee. “I’m excited for what’s next.”

Breece Hall, running back for the New York Jets, also had a solid performance, amassing 81 rushing yards and five receptions against the Miami Dolphins. His efforts weren’t enough to secure a win, as the Jets fell 27-21.

In Baltimore, rookie linebacker Jake Hummel filled in for Roquan Smith after an injury, recording five tackles in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. “I was just trying to do my job and help the team,” Hummel said after the game.

As the NFL season progresses, fans are eager to see how these players continue to shine on the professional stage. The next week promises more excitement as multiple Cyclones will be in action, including Purdy’s 49ers and Hall’s Jets, both playing on October 5.
