Fc Dallas Vs La Galaxy Match Preview

FRISCO, Texas (Oct. 3, 2025) – FC Dallas is gearing up for a crucial clash against the LA Galaxy this Saturday, Oct. 4, at 3:30 p.m. CT at Toyota Stadium. This match is pivotal as Dallas looks to improve its playoff position in the MLS.

The game will be streamed in both English and Spanish, with pregame coverage beginning at 3 p.m. CT on the FC Dallas app. Broadcasters Ryan Figert, Steve Davis, and Sam Hale will provide live commentary of the action.

Currently, FC Dallas sits below the playoff line in 10th place after a recent draw against the Portland Timbers. Despite gaining a point from the 2-2 match last week in Portland, Dallas slipped from 9th to 10th in the standings. They now have three matches left to secure a postseason spot. Success in their remaining games is crucial, especially as they trail the San Jose Earthquakes and the Colorado Rapids who occupy the play-in spots.

The upcoming game against the Galaxy marks the first of back-to-back meetings, the second set for Oct. 11, due to earlier scheduling conflicts. FC Dallas holds a strong recent record against LA, winning five of their last six encounters.

The LA Galaxy, in contrast, have struggled this season after winning the MLS Cup last year. They currently sit at the bottom of the Western Conference with only five wins. Despite an improved performance in the latter half of the season, LA arrives at Toyota Stadium without a road victory this year.

Dallas forward Petar Musa, who scored a penalty last week, remains a key player as he is close to breaking FC Dallas’s single-season scoring record. He is just one goal shy of tying the 18-goal mark held by club legends Jason Kreis, Kenny Cooper, and Jesús Ferreira.

In addition, midfielder Diego Garcia has been called up to the U.S. U-20 National Team for an international training camp in Spain. Garcia made his MLS debut last week and has shown promise this season after a successful stint with North Texas SC.

As the stakes rise, FC Dallas aims to capitalize on their remaining games, starting against the Galaxy, to secure a playoff berth.
