Dave Portnoy Pizza Review Toronto

Toronto, Canada — Sports media mogul Dave Portnoy was the target of an anti-Semitic slur during a pizza review visit to Toronto. Portnoy, who is Jewish, was attending a Bitcoin conference when the incident occurred at Terrazza on Harbord Street on June 3, 2025.

While filming his popular pizza review, someone in the crowd shouted, “F**k the Jews.” Portnoy responded with disbelief, asking the surrounding youths, “What are you guys f****n laughing about?” His tone shifted from playful to serious, questioning the hospitality of Toronto.

“That’s terrible,” commented his Toronto-based sidekick, Bill the Greek. Despite the disruption, Portnoy continued with his review and ultimately rated the pizza a score of 7.4. The review video has been viewed about 130,000 times since its release.

CityNews attempted to reach out to Portnoy for additional comments but did not receive a response. This incident follows a similar situation last month, when anti-Semitic graffiti appeared at one of his Barstool venues in Philadelphia. Portnoy expressed his anger then, vowing to take action against the perpetrators.

“I’ve been shaking,” he said at the time. Portnoy also suggested a controversial idea of sending the individuals responsible for the graffiti on a trip to a Nazi concentration camp, but later canceled this offer after one of them denied accountability.

Portnoy remarked on the growing presence of anti-Semitism, stating to NBC News, “The uptick in antisemitism has been noticeable.”
