Debate on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” Erupts Over Epstein Ties Accusations
During a recent broadcast of “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” a heated exchange unfolded involving YouTuber and author Mohammed Hijab, lawyer and law professor Alan Dershowitz, and host Piers Morgan. The debate, initially centered on Israel’s conflict with Gaza, veered into a contentious discussion on Dershowitz’s ties to the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Mohammed Hijab interrupted the debate by questioning Morgan about whether Dershowitz, a former lawyer for Epstein, had any “leverage” over him. “There’s no leverage on me, no,” Morgan responded, appearing confused. Hijab referenced a photo of Morgan with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s known associate, taken at a book launch in 2013, and inquired if Morgan had visited Epstein’s private island, Little Saint James. Piers Morgan clarified, “No, I’ve never been to the island, I’ve never met Jeffrey Epstein,” and stressed he had not spent significant time with Maxwell.
The exchange escalated as Hijab demanded Morgan condemn Dershowitz for any alleged visits to the island. Morgan deflected the question, suggesting Hijab direct it at Dershowitz, who was participating remotely in the discussion but remained silent on the topic initially.
Hijab continued his attack, referencing Dershowitz’s past comments about receiving a massage at Epstein’s residence, where Dershowitz claimed, “I kept my underwear on during the massage. I don’t like massages particularly.” Dershowitz has consistently maintained that his interactions with Epstein were not improper, once being named as the late Epstein’s attorney during his initial Florida trial.
Piers Morgan accused Hijab of “ad hominem attacks” and diverting attention from the Middle East conflict. “You’re defending him, you’re defending a monster, a pervert, an old pervert,” Hijab retorted. “He knew Epstein.”
Finally, Dershowitz intervened, stating, “Let me be very clear, it’s not pointless. He just called me a pervert. He will be sued now for defamation and we will be able to resolve this in a court of law.” Dershowitz highlighted that Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein victim, had withdrawn allegations of sexual abuse against him in 2022, admitting she might have mistaken him for someone else.
Hijab, seemingly unperturbed by the legal threat, responded, “You can’t threaten me. Sure, I’m ready for it. I’m ready for the lawsuit,” reaffirming his stance by linking Dershowitz’s acquaintance with Epstein to his accusations.
