Deleted Scene from Avengers: Endgame Surfaces Online

LOS ANGELES, CA—A deleted scene from the popular film Avengers: Endgame has recently surfaced online, igniting interest among fans. The clip features Rocket Raccoon humorously critiquing the Avengers’ battle against the Chitauri in the original Avengers movie.
The scene is set early in Endgame, showing Rocket reviewing footage of the Chitauri attack on New York. He expresses disbelief at how long it took the Avengers to defeat what he humorously labels the “suckiest army in the galaxy.” In a comedic tone, Rocket points out that they should have known to destroy the mothership to secure victory.
While the clip is entertaining, it is understandable why it was cut from the final release. At over three hours long, the film left little room for scenes that weren’t essential to the plot. The Russo Brothers, who directed the film, likely decided that this particular sequence, although funny, did not contribute to the narrative required to wrap up the expansive story.
The unfinished nature of the scene indicates that while initial work was done to include it, the final decision was made to remove it from the film entirely. Fans of Rocket’s humor may find its absence noticeable in future Marvel productions, as Bradley Cooper and the Guardians of the Galaxy team are not slated to return for the upcoming Avengers movies.
As Marvel fans await the release of future titles, including the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, reactions to this deleted scene showcase the lasting impact that characters like Rocket Raccoon have had on audiences.
