Denver Weather Forecast June 2025

DENVER — Colorado is set for a warm Friday, with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 80s across the Denver metro area. This will mark the hottest day of the week, following a relatively quiet night with some isolated storms, partly cloudy skies, and breezy winds.

As temperatures climb, the I-25 corridor is expected to remain mostly dry. However, the northeastern plains could face severe weather due to rising humidity. Areas near Sterling, Akron, and Julesburg are under a ‘slight risk’ for severe thunderstorms, including the potential for large hail and damaging winds, especially later in the day on Friday.

Looking ahead to the Memorial Day weekend, conditions will take a turn. Saturday is forecasted to bring stronger thunderstorms to the Denver metro and the plains, with highs in the mid-70s. The Front Range will be under a ‘marginal risk’ for severe weather, prompting residents to stay alert for possible storms.

Sunday’s weather will continue the cooling trend, as a storm system is expected to bring widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms, with highs dipping to the low to mid-60s.

The start of Memorial Day will be pleasant for participants of the BOLDERBoulder, with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 60s by the end of the race. However, clouds will increase throughout the day, and the chance of scattered storms will remain in the forecast, with temperatures reaching the upper 60s in the Denver metro. Storms are expected to persist into next week, with daily chances through Wednesday.
