Denver Set for Summer Heat with Possible Storms This Week

DENVER, CO – This week, Denver is expecting temperatures to rise into the upper 80s and even low 90s as summer finally takes hold.
Overnight, the city will experience mostly clear skies, with temperatures dropping into the low to mid-50s along the I-25 corridor, while the foothills may have cooler 40s.
Tuesday will start sunny, with daytime highs reaching upper 80s in the Denver metro area. As the day progresses, increasing cloud cover can lead to isolated showers, particularly in the foothills.
On Wednesday and Thursday, afternoon thunderstorms are possible. However, these storms are expected to remain isolated. Throughout the work week, temperatures will generally stay in the mid to upper 80s.
Looking ahead to Father’s Day weekend, Denver could see its first 90-degree day of 2025 on Saturday, with hot temperatures continuing into early next week. Residents are advised to stay cool as summer temperatures roll into Colorado.
