Director AP Arjun Lauds Cast and Crew of Kannada Film ‘Martin’ at Pre-release Event

Kannada cinema enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the release of the film “Martin” on October 11, 2024. Directed by AP Arjun, the film stars Dhruva Sarja and is expected to attract a diverse audience with its release in 13 languages, including English. The film is produced by Uday K Mehta Productions and Vasavi Enterprises.

A pre-release event took place in Davanagere, Karnataka, where director AP Arjun expressed his admiration for the film’s cast and crew. Arjun shared an anecdote about lead actor Dhruva Sarja, recalling his patience during lengthy tattoo sessions required for his character. Despite the discomfort and potential headaches from the smell of the tattoo, Sarja reportedly remained patient throughout the process.

The director assured the audience of an engaging cinematic experience, particularly highlighting an exhilarating finale. AP Arjun stated that the last 20 minutes of “Martin” promise high-octane thrills, ensuring viewers remain engaged.

Praise was also directed towards the film’s stunt director, Ravi Varma, for his significant effort in orchestrating impressive action sequences, some of which involved the use of 40 cars and trucks. The choreographer, Murali Master, was also commended for managing a complex song sequence over 17 days, which involved intricate costume changes expertly supervised by designer Chetan.

Cinematographer Satya Hegde received acknowledgment for his efforts in capturing the essence of the film. Director AP Arjun further expressed gratitude towards the production team for their contributions to the film’s development.

“Martin” features a cast including Vaibhavi Shandilya, Anveshi Jain, and Nawab Shah, among others. The expansive release strategy not only aims for a pan-India reach but also seeks to establish Dhruva Sarja as a popular figure in global cinema, appealing to various linguistic and cultural demographics.
