Donald Trump Madison Square Garden Rally 2024

Former President Donald Trump is slated to hold a significant rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City later this month, according to sources familiar with the event. The rally is scheduled for October 27, just nine days before the upcoming Election Day.

The event, which will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, is expected to attract a large crowd. Madison Square Garden, often referred to as “The World’s Most Famous Arena,” can accommodate up to 19,500 spectators in its main arena. This venue has historically hosted major political events, including the Democratic National Conventions in 1924, 1976, 1980, and 1992, as well as the Republican National Convention in 2004.

Trump, aged 78, has previously drawn thousands of supporters at rallies across New York. Last month, approximately 16,000 people attended a rally in Uniondale, Long Island, while another event in Crotona Park attracted up to 10,000 participants, despite having a permit for only 3,500.

The former president has often hinted at the possibility of holding a rally at the iconic Manhattan arena as part of his efforts to capture the Empire State in the upcoming elections. In a statement made in February, he expressed his belief that New York has undergone significant changes, suggesting that people who previously might not have voted for him may now consider doing so.

During a separate event in April, Trump further reiterated plans for a Madison Square Garden rally, emphasizing its intention to honor first responders, such as police and firemen, as well as teachers. “We’re going to give New York a heavy shot,” Trump stated at the time.

The Trump campaign has yet to officially comment on the upcoming rally but is expected to announce it formally through an email to supporters later this week.
