Doors Open Toronto Showcases New Sites for Public Exploration
Doors Open Toronto, the annual event celebrating the city’s architectural and historic gems, is set to unveil new locations to the public this year.
Featuring over 150 significant buildings in Toronto, this year’s event boasts 50 fresh properties for exploration over the weekend.
Among the newly revealed spots is the Redpath Sugar plant located on Queens Quay East and a popular downtown brewery, offering a rare chance for public insight into these typically private spaces.
General Manager of the Redpath Sugar plant, Rob Gentilcore expressed enthusiasm for inviting the public to experience their facility, highlighting the transformation of the surrounding Toronto waterfront.
Emphasizing the event’s importance, Gentilcore mentioned that such access is exceptional as their site is usually not open to public visits.
