Dorothy Grace Dunn, a long-time resident of Bluefield, West Virginia, passed away at the age of 97 in Roanoke, Virginia, on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Dunn was born in Bluefield, WV, to parents Larry and Thelma Stafford Dunn, both of whom preceded her in death. Her brother, Larry Joe Dunn, also predeceased her.

Described by those who knew her as “Dot,” Dunn was well-regarded in her community. Her passing marks a significant loss for her family and friends.

Funeral services to commemorate Dunn’s life are scheduled to take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home located in Princeton. Friends and family are invited to visit from noon until the commencement of the service.

In addition, another service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on the same day at Scott Street Baptist Church in Bluefield, WV, with visitation also beginning at noon. The interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens on New Hope Road in Bluefield.
