Elden Ring Nightreign Game Update Patch

Tokyo, JapanBandai Namco Entertainment and From Software have released a day-one patch for the much-anticipated game, Elden Ring Nightreign. The update, Version 1.01, launched on May 29, 2025, just before the game itself goes live.

The patch aims to improve gameplay and stability, addressing issues reported during pre-release. Bandai Namco announced that players should download the latest update before launching the game to experience optimal performance.

“This update brings gameplay and stability improvements to ensure an optimal experience for your first steps in Limveld,” the company stated. Changes include balance adjustments, character handling improvements, and various bug fixes. Players can confirm they have the latest version if they see ‘Ver. 1.01’ displayed on the bottom right of their title screen.

However, some players using high-end graphics cards on PCs may encounter frame rate drops. Bandai Namco is currently investigating this issue. In the meantime, they advise users experiencing problems to lower their graphics settings or screen resolution.

Players can also resolve some setup issues by verifying the integrity of game files via Steam. To do this, they should go to their library, right-click on Elden Ring Nightreign, click ‘Properties’, then ‘Installed Files’, and select ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files.’

The game’s development team has acknowledged feedback regarding the multiplayer aspect, particularly the lack of a duo-play option. Ishizaki, the development lead, noted, “This is something that was overlooked during development as just a two-player option, so we’re very sorry about that.” The team is considering this feedback for future updates.

As Elden Ring Nightreign officially launches today for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, gamers are eagerly awaiting their chance to explore the new multiplayer experience.
