By-Election Underway in Saint-Léon-de-Standon

Saint Léon De Standon Election

A by-election is currently taking place in Saint-Léon-de-Standon. The election aims to fill seat number 5, which has been vacant since the end of May following the departure of Lisette Gosselin. Ms. Gosselin had to leave due to relocation.

Two candidates are contesting to succeed Ms. Gosselin. Cynthia Lapointe and Patrick Vaillancourt have both submitted their candidacies for the position.

The official voting day is set for Sunday, September 29. Early voting will be available on Sunday, September 22. On both occasions, the voting will occur in the municipal hall located at 100 St-Pierre Street.
