FRISCO, Texas — The Academy of Country Music unveiled the list of nominees for the 2025 ACM Awards on March 27, with emerging country artist Ella Langley topping the charts with eight nominations. Langley’s standout track, “You Look Like You Love Me,” a collaboration with Riley Green, is highlighted in several categories including Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
Other notable nominees include Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen, who each received seven nominations. Lainey Wilson follows closely with six nods. The ceremony marking the 60th ACM Awards is set to take place on May 8, 2025, at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and will be hosted by Reba McEntire.
Langley’s nominations encompass both Female Artist of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year, with six additional nods for her chart-topping single. “I’m thrilled to be recognized alongside so many talented artists,” Langley said in a statement. Cody Johnson’s nominations reflect his continued success in the touring industry, as he is recognized in major categories such as Entertainer of the Year, alongside Walden, Stapleton, Jelly Roll, and Wilson, the reigning champion from the previous year. “The recognition means everything, especially from my peers,” Johnson remarked.
Meanwhile, Wallen continues his successful streak, nominated for the third consecutive year as Entertainer of the Year. His track “I Had Some Help,” in collaboration with Post Malone, also garnered nominations for Song of the Year and more.
The full list of nominees includes recognized names and rising stars alike. The competition for Album of the Year features Megan Moroney’s “Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine),” Jelly Roll’s “Beautifully Broken,” Zach Top’s “Cold Beer & Country Music,” and Post Malone’s “F-1 Trillion,” alongside Lainey Wilson’s “Whirlwind.”
Notably, the Single of the Year category sees competitive tracks such as “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey, “Dirt Cheap” by Johnson, and “White Horse” by Stapleton, alongside Langley and Green’s collaboration.
