Emily Blunt Celebrates John Krasinski’s Directing Skills in New Interview

LOS ANGELES, CA — Emily Blunt recently clarified rumors about her relationship with husband John Krasinski during an interview promoting her latest project.

In the interview, Blunt expressed her amazement at Krasinski’s talent as a director when they worked together on the film A Quiet Place. She described the experience as watching someone discover a superpower. “I don’t think he knew what he was capable of,” Blunt said.

Blunt recalled her initial doubts before filming began. “I was like, ‘Look, I’m thrilled to be doing this with you, but do you know how to shoot this movie? Because I don’t know how to shoot a movie.’ He laughed and said, ‘I think I do know how to shoot it. I don’t know why, but I think I do.’” Blunt praised Krasinski, stating, “Then, my God, did he.”

She emphasized the importance of their mutual respect, saying, “I think if we had done that movie and we didn’t respect or admire each other, it would’ve been an absolute disaster.”

Blunt and Krasinski began dating in 2008 after being introduced by mutual friends. They got engaged in August 2009 and married in July 2010. The couple has two daughters, Hazel, born in 2014, and Violet, born in 2016.
