Eva Mendes Interview Good Morning America

Eva Mendes, the renowned actress known for her roles in films like “The Place Beyond the Pines” and “Lost River,” has expressed uncertainty about her return to acting. In a recent interview on Good Morning America with George Stephanopoulos, Mendes discussed her decision to step away from the acting profession to focus on raising her children.

Mendes, who last appeared in a movie role in 2014, has been on a hiatus to care for her two daughters, Esmerelda and Amada, whom she shares with her partner Ryan Gosling. When asked if she was considering a return to acting, Mendes was non-committal. “I don’t know. If there — you know — if there’s interesting roles,” she said, reflecting on her past career highlights, including working with Gosling, which she described as a career high point.

Mendes met Gosling while filming the 2012 crime drama “The Place Beyond the Pines,” and they later collaborated on “Lost River,” a thriller written and directed by Gosling. She has since limited her acting work to voice roles in the children’s franchise “Bluey.”

Currently, Mendes is promoting her first picture book for children, titled “Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries.” The book aims to open up dialogue about mental health by exploring the relationship between a young girl and her brain. Mendes hopes to promote conversation and understanding about mental health through this work.
