Fallout: London Mod Now Available for PC Players

Good news for fans of the Fallout series! A new mod called Fallout: London has just been released for PC players, and it’s available for free download.

This ambitious mod takes players on a journey through a post-apocalyptic London, complete with a new location, storyline, and a whopping 90 hours of gameplay. Developed by Team Folon since 2019, it includes fully voiced characters and around 200 quests.

The developers describe it as a unique take on London, filled with everything from aristocrats to medieval knights, all with a nuclear twist.

However, there’s a catch. To play Fallout: London, you need to own Fallout 4 and all its DLC packs. If you don’t already have the Game of the Year Edition, which bundles everything together, you’ll need to get it first.

Installations can vary based on where you bought Fallout 4. If you purchased it on GOG, the process is simple. After creating a GOG account, you can easily download and install Fallout: London through the GOG Galaxy launcher.

If you’re using Steam, though, it’s a bit trickier. Due to a recent update, Fallout 4’s latest version isn’t compatible with the mod. You’ll need to downgrade your game to a previous version, which can be done using a special downgrader tool from Team Folon.

For those less familiar with modding, the downgrader tool makes the process straightforward. You just need to follow the instructions to log in to your Steam account and the tool will handle the rest.

After downgrading, you can download the mod from GOG and link it to your Steam folder. Just make sure to disable cloud saves on Steam to avoid any conflicts.

If you’d rather not use the downgrader tool, there’s also a manual option to download an older version of Fallout 4 through Steam’s console commands, although this method is more suited to advanced users.

With all these steps completed, players should be ready to dive into the unique world of Fallout: London. It’s an exciting time for Fallout fans, especially as they anticipate what Bethesda has in store for the franchise moving forward.
