Fans Thrilled as Spartacus: House of Ashur Trailer Drops

LOS ANGELES, CA — The highly anticipated trailer for Spartacus: House of Ashur was released on October 30, 2025. The new series, created by Steven S. DeKnight, is set to premiere with two episodes on December 5, continuing with new episodes every Friday via Starz‘s app and network.

The gripping Red Band trailer showcases fierce gladiatorial combat, where survival often depends on a thumbs-up or thumbs-down decision, highlighting the brutal spectacle of Ancient Rome.

Liam McIntyre makes a brief yet impactful appearance as Spartacus, who is seen being attacked by Ashur, played by Nick E. Tarabay. In this reimagined world, Ashur rises as Dominus, or master, of his own House, driven by vengeance and ambition, as he seeks a prominent place in the violent arena.

The cast features a diverse lineup, including Tenika Davis, Jamaica Vaughan, Ivana Baquero, Jordi Webber, Claudia Black, India Shaw-Smith, and Leigh Gill. Fans can also catch up on the original Spartacus series, which is available for streaming on Starz.

The original series began with Spartacus: Blood and Sand in 2010, followed by two prequels and additional chapters, concluding with Spartacus: War of the Damned in 2013.
