Fardeen Khan Discusses Family and Career in Recent Interviews
Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan, who recently re-emerged onto the film scene with his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s production ‘Heeramandi,’ is currently engaged in filming the fifth installment of the popular ‘Housefull’ franchise. The actor has been candid about the recent shifts in his personal and professional life in various interviews.
In a conversation with GQ India, Fardeen Khan shared insights into his children’s potential career paths, acknowledging their artistic inclinations. He mentioned that his daughter, Diani, who is 11 years old, enjoys singing, dancing, and performing, while his 7-year-old son, Azarius, has expressed a desire to act, following in his father’s footsteps. Khan remarked, “If they choose to be in my profession, it would give me so much joy. But it’s not easy… it’s an all-consuming business.”
Previously, Fardeen Khan had opened up to Bollywood Hungama about the personal challenges he faced, including a significant break from acting. He explained that after his father’s death, he experienced a health scare in 2009, leading him to prioritize family. Fardeen, along with his wife Natasha Madhvani, opted for IVF to conceive their children, encountering difficulties that necessitated his professional hiatus. “We had a bad experience with doctors here in Mumbai. Natasha really suffered because IVF is not easy. It’s very hard on your body and on your health,” he shared.
Fardeen Khan’s film career, which took off with much promise, was paused after his last movie “Dulha Mil Gaya” in 2010. His return this year with ‘Heeramandi’ was followed by a role in “Khel Khel Mein.” Presently, he is filming ‘Housefull 5‘ alongside prominent actors such as Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan. Under the direction of Tarun Mansukhani, the movie boasts a star-studded ensemble, featuring actors Riteish Deshmukh, Dino Morea, Johny Lever, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, and Disha Patani.
