GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park announced its 2025 Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts lineup on April 10, 2025, kicking off an exciting season featuring 34 shows, the highest number in the concert series’ history.
Tickets for the highly anticipated events will go on sale at 9 a.m. on April 19 for Meijer Gardens members, with general public sales commencing a week later, on April 26. Concert-goers can purchase tickets via AXS.com/MeijerGardens.
This year’s concerts promise an impressive lineup, welcoming both first-time performers and cherished returning artists. Notable acts include Chaka Khan, Vance Joy, Gary Clark Jr., Wynonna, and Rilo Kiley, among others. The series will showcase a blend of genres, ensuring there is something for everyone.
“We are always striving for a nice mix of returning favorites and new acts, aiming to offer a diverse and wide-ranging lineup that appeals to as many people as possible,” said John VanderHaagen, the director of communications for Meijer Gardens. “This year’s lineup is a fantastic mix of both new and familiar artists.”
The concert series will kick off on May 30 with The Head and the Heart, Futurebirds, and Ann Graves. The grand finale is set for September 4 with the reunion tour of Rilo Kiley, led by Jenny Lewis.
Among the newly announced artists, Wynonna Judd, Dinosaur Jr., and The String Cheese Incident will each bring their unique sound to the stage, reflecting this season’s commitment to variety. The String Cheese Incident will mark their appearance immediately following their Electric Forest performance in Rothbury.
Several intriguing double-bills are scheduled, including The Psychedelic Furs with The Chameleons, and Dinosaur Jr. with Snail Mail. “It’s thrilling to bring these artists together in one of the region’s most beautiful venues,” VanderHaagen added.
Fans should prepare as demand is expected to exceed supply. To facilitate a smoother process, AXS has advised ticket buyers to create accounts ahead of the sale dates. Ticket prices for members range from $43 for certain acts to as much as $135 for big names like Smokey Robinson.
The average ticket price for public sales this season is predicted to be approximately $86.09, reflecting an 18.6 percent increase from last year’s average of $72.60.
