Memory Of A Killer Fox Series

LOS ANGELES, CA — Fox has released the first trailer for its upcoming series “Memory of a Killer,” which stars Patrick Dempsey as a hitman struggling with early onset Alzheimer’s. The show is set to premiere on January 26, 2026.

The series follows Angelo Doyle (Dempsey), a resourceful hitman who begins to lose his memory. As his condition worsens, he simultaneously starts to regain his conscience and confront his past sins. Accompanying him is his friend Dutch, played by Michael Imperioli, who works as a chef at a restaurant that serves as a front for their criminal activities. Together, they strive to protect Angelo’s family from imminent danger.

The character description reveals the stakes are high for Angelo as he deals with the possible murder of his wife and the threat against his pregnant daughter, Maria (Odeya Rush). “Angelo is exceptionally resourceful and talented, the best of the best. But he’s about to be tested like never before — and now every minute counts,” the series synopsis states.

Alongside Dempsey and Imperioli, the cast includes Richard Harmon as Joe, a rising hitman who witnesses Angelo’s decline; Daniel David Stewart as Jeff, Maria’s husband; and Peter Gadiot as Dave, a local detective unaware of Angelo’s double life. Gina Torres portrays Special Agent Linda Grant, an investigator who becomes a significant threat to Angelo as she delves into his past.

Produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment, “Memory of a Killer” is inspired by the 2003 award-winning Belgian film “De Zaak Alzheimer.” The series aims to blend intense drama with high-stakes action while exploring deep emotional themes.

During a press call, Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network, described the series as “a dramatic thriller with a noisy unrelenting hook.” He expressed confidence that the show has the potential to become a signature Fox production.
