Flights Canceled at Southwest Florida International Airport Due to Severe Weather
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Southwest Florida International Airport has announced that no flights will be operating on Wednesday and Thursday this week. According to airport officials, airlines are currently operating on Monday, with most planning to run flights on Tuesday. However, all flights will be grounded on the specified days due to upcoming severe weather conditions.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and prioritize the safety of our passengers and staff,” an airport spokesperson stated. They further advised travelers to stay informed by checking with their respective airlines for the most current updates regarding flight schedules and cancellations.
