DALLAS, Texas — Former world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather, known as ‘Money,’ celebrated a lucrative Super Bowl betting victory following the Philadelphia Eagles‘ decisive 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on February 2, 2025.

Mayweather, a prominent figure in boxing and gambling, took to social media to showcase his winning tickets from the event. This win is particularly sweet for Mayweather as he also placed a bet on the Eagles in the previous Super Bowl but did not profit. This year, he bet a total of $70,000 and earned a return of $58,755.

“I fly high like an eagle. Money can do EVERYTHING all day,” Mayweather posted on Instagram, accompanied by photos of his winning tickets. He placed two bets: the first was $40,000 with odds of -135 during halftime, yielding a payout of approximately $29,629; the second bet was $30,000 on the final result, with odds of -103, netting him about $29,126.

Mayweather has built a reputation around his gambling prowess, often sharing victories on social media along with the occasional losses. His recent bet exemplifies his knack for choosing high-stakes opportunities in sports betting.

As for the Super Bowl itself, this year’s matchup marked a significant defeat for the Chiefs, who were seeking their third consecutive championship but fell short against a formidable Eagles squad, showcasing impressive performance throughout the game.
