Former 'general Hospital' Actress Found Dead In California Field

Actress Robyn Bernard, best known for her role as Terry Brock on the long-running soap opera ‘General Hospital,’ was discovered deceased in an open field behind a business in California.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s department confirmed the incident and has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of her death.

Born in Gladewater, Texas, in 1959, Bernard’s career kicked off with a notable appearance in Jean-Jacques Beneix’s acclaimed 1981 French film ‘Diva.’

Throughout her career, she made guest appearances on popular TV shows like ‘Whiz Kids,’ ‘The Facts of Life,’ and ‘Simon and Simon.’

Bernard joined the cast of ‘General Hospital’ in 1984, portraying the complex character Terry Brock, also known as Terry O’Connor, whose storyline featured struggles with addiction that affected her music career.

Following her tenure on ‘General Hospital,’ Bernard continued working in film and television, taking on roles in various projects including the French miniseries ‘Maigret’ and the award-nominated film ‘Betty Blue.’

Her final on-screen appearance was in the 2002 movie ‘Voices from High School,’ where she portrayed a psychologist.

Robyn Bernard is survived by her sisters Crystal and Scarlett, as well as her father Jerry Wayne Bernard.
