Former Remedies Member Tony Tetuila Claims Betrayal by Bandmates, Credits Daddy Showkey and Blackface for Solo Career Success
Former member of the iconic Nigerian music group The Remedies, Tony Tetuila, has opened up about feeling betrayed by his ex-bandmates Eedris Abdulkareem and Eddy Remedy, accusing them of conspiring to push him out of the band.
In a recent social media post, Tetuila revealed that despite his mother being the original sponsor of the group, Abdulkareem and Remedy orchestrated his removal, leaving him ‘heartbroken and shattered.’
Contradicting Abdulkareem’s recent claims, Tetuila stated that it was Eedris and Eddy who marginalized him within the group, prompting him to embark on a solo career.
He expressed gratitude to fellow musicians Daddy Showkey and Blackface for their support and encouragement, which paved the way for his successful solo journey.
Eedris Abdulkareem, a prominent figure in the Nigerian music industry, has been at the center of the controversy, with Tetuila asserting that the narrative of Abdulkareem making sacrifices for the industry is false.
