Former Shell Australia Head and Olympic Silver Medallist, Kevan Gosper, Passes Away at 90
Former head of Shell Australia, Australian Olympic Committee president, and Olympic silver medallist Kevan Gosper passed away at the age of 90 following complications from a recent fall.
Mr. Gosper, renowned for his achievements at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics where he excelled in the men’s 4 x 100 metres relay and later represented Australia at the Rome 1960 Summer Olympics, peacefully departed at his Sunshine Coast residence, surrounded by his wife Judy and daughter Sophie, as confirmed by IOC vice president and Mr. Gosper’s successor, former AOC head John Coates.
