Former Wwe Star And Congressional Candidate Wanted In Connection To Las Vegas Death

A former WWE star and congressional candidate, Daniel Rodimer, is currently wanted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in connection to the death of Christopher Tapp, a man who was wrongfully convicted and incarcerated for 21 years in Idaho.

The arrest warrant for Rodimer, issued on Wednesday, relates to Tapp’s death, which was ruled a homicide due to blunt force trauma to the head by the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Rodimer’s lawyers have stated that he plans to surrender voluntarily and contest the allegations, emphasizing the presumption of innocence.

An altercation reportedly occurred after Tapp offered cocaine to Rodimer’s stepdaughter at a party, leading to a confrontation between the two at a Las Vegas hotel.

Witnesses claim to have seen Rodimer physically assault Tapp, with one witness alleging that Rodimer threatened to kill Tapp if he ever spoke to his daughter again.

Text messages obtained by investigators between Rodimer and his wife, Sarah, suggest a concerning interaction involving a violent incident witnessed by Sarah.

Christopher Tapp was wrongfully convicted in 1996 for the rape and murder of Angie Dodge, but was released from prison in 2017 and exonerated in 2019 by the Innocence Project.

Rodimer, who previously ran for congressional seats in Nevada, including a special election in 2021, is now facing legal troubles in connection to Tapp’s death.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Crime Stoppers are actively seeking information on Rodimer’s whereabouts.
