Fox News Guest Goes Viral After Intoxicated Interview

NEW YORK, NY — A clip from Rebekah Koffler’s interview on Fox News has gone viral, drawing attention after she appeared to be intoxicated during the live broadcast. Koffler, a former officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency, was commenting on a military parade celebrating the Army’s 250th birthday on June 15, 2025.
The interview, aired on the evening of the parade, was delayed. Before going on air, Koffler posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that she was “refilling my #champagne glass.” When she was introduced, viewers noticed her slurring words and swaying on-screen.
Koffler began her commentary with, “This is incredible, finally, the United States is back,” before thanking the military officers and their families for their sacrifices. She mispronounced former President Donald Trump‘s name during her speech but continued thanking the officers for their service.
The hosts, Emily Compagno and Lawrence Jones, quickly intervened, thanking her for her comments and cutting the interview short. Social media users reacted with mixed comments, some expressing concern for Koffler, while others found humor in the situation. One user commented, “That was your big moment and you were absolutely hammered. Great entertainment though.”
Koffler later responded to the backlash, claiming that her earlier post about the champagne photo was a joke meant to increase viewership. She did not confirm whether she was intoxicated during the interview but asserted, “Allegations against me related to my @FoxNews appearance are FALSE.”
Despite Koffler’s claims of technical difficulties during her appearance, a source at Fox News disputed her statements, asserting that there were no such issues. Koffler’s X account was subsequently flooded with comments from viewers critiquing her performance.
The incident has sparked further discussion around her role as a frequent news guest and the expectations of television personalities during live broadcasts.
