MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Frontier Airlines will begin offering nonstop flights from Memphis International Airport to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport starting Thanksgiving Day.

The airline announced flights will operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. Memphis flights will leave at 11:56 a.m. Central Time, while return flights from Atlanta will depart at 2:37 p.m. Eastern Time.

In addition to the new route to Atlanta, Frontier also provides service from Memphis to Denver. This new service aims to provide Memphians more travel options without the need for long drives.

“We are excited to soon begin offering our ultra-low fare flights from Memphis to Atlanta, which is one of our largest operational bases and offers many connecting opportunities to destinations beyond,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines.

Flyr added that the airline plans to introduce major upgrades, including First Class seats, to enhance the travel experience for Tennessee travelers.
