Antoine Massey Jail Escape Instagram

NEW ORLEANS, La. — The search for Antoine Massey, one of two remaining escapees from the Orleans Parish Jail, continues as he posts videos on Instagram pleading for help and claiming innocence. The videos, shared on the account @_007chucky, have raised eyebrows among investigators.

Massey fled the Orleans Justice Center on May 16, alongside nine other inmates. He appears in the videos, addressing the camera and disputing allegations regarding his escape. In one segment, he states, “I’m one of the ones that was let out of Orleans Parish jail where they said I escaped, right?”

In the content, he denies having threatened a jail employee to facilitate the escape. Authorities previously alleged that he threatened to harm a maintenance worker if water was not cut off to a cell, allowing inmates to escape through a hole in the wall.

The 32-year-old claims that the domestic abuse charge keeping him incarcerated stemmed from a false report by a jealous girlfriend. He displayed documents, purportedly proving that another group attacked her.

Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson responded to the video, urging Massey to surrender. “If the individual depicted in the video is indeed Antoine Massey, we strongly urge him to come forward and turn himself in to the proper authorities,” she stated. “Cooperating with law enforcement may help avoid additional charges.”

Massey also called for assistance from high-profile figures, including President Donald Trump and rappers Lil Wayne and Meek Mill, asserting he was unfairly prosecuted and facing life in prison for wrongful charges.

He and fellow escapee Derrick Groves remain the last two inmates on the run, with authorities having recaptured eight others linked to the breakout. A reward of $50,000 is available for information leading to their arrests, supported by Crime Stoppers, the FBI, and the ATF.
