Glennon Doyle’s New Book Explores Life’s Essential Questions

NEW YORK, NY — Author and podcaster Glennon Doyle has released a new guidebook designed to help readers navigate life’s complexities by addressing what she describes as the “20 essential questions” we encounter throughout our lives. The book, which showcases conversations with a range of notable figures, aims to provide insights and support for those feeling lost.
In a preview shared on TODAY, Doyle explained that this project was born out of a difficult year in her life. “For the first time, we were all drowning at the same time,” Doyle said in remarks shared by her publisher. This moment of vulnerability was catalyzed by her sister’s cancer diagnosis, the passing of her wife Abby Wambach‘s brother, and her own battle with anorexia.
Doyle’s new book draws inspiration from her experiences seeking deep, honest conversations with brave and wise individuals, including luminaries like Ina Garten, Justice Ketanji Brown, and Esther Perel. “Inside this book are those questions — and the answers that saved my life,” Doyle shared, emphasizing the importance of these discussions.
As the authors delved into these conversations, they discovered two critical realizations: that we are not alone, and we do not have to remain lost. The collective exploration of these themes culminated in what they describe as a personal survival guide.
The publisher’s official description of the book underscores its purpose: “This book is a place to turn to when you feel clueless and alone; when you need language for how you feel; when you need clarity in the chaos.” Doyle encourages readers to view the book as a tool to remember the wisdom they already possess.
Doyle is known for her previous bestsellers, including “Carry On, Warrior” (2013), “Love Warrior” (2016), and “Untamed” (2020). Her work often reflects her commitment to vulnerability and resilience.
As an influential voice on topics of mental health and personal growth, Doyle continues to inspire audiences with her authentic storytelling.
