The Fresno Police Department in California has refuted recent reports suggesting the demise of the notorious gangster Goldy Brar, who has been linked to the murder of Punjabi singer Siddhu Moosewala. Initial claims emerged on May 1, 2024, alleging that Brar had met his end in a shooting incident in the United States. However, the Fresno police clarified that these reports were inaccurate and had been mistaken with a separate shooting case.

On April 30, 2024, authorities responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the Fairmont Avenue and Holt Avenue area, where they discovered Xavier Gladney, 37, with fatal gunshot wounds. Another victim, a thirteen-year-old juvenile, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Fresno Police’s official statement confirmed that the fatality was Gladney, not Goldy Brar.

Goldy Brar, a known associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, rose to infamy after publicly claiming responsibility for the murder of Siddhu Moosewala on a social media platform. The Punjabi singer was tragically shot dead in his car near his hometown in Punjab‘s Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
