Pac Man Halloween Doodle

Mountain View, CA — Google is celebrating the 45th anniversary of PAC-MAN with a special Halloween-themed Doodle on its homepage. The Doodle features an interactive game where players can guide PAC-MAN through eight levels, including four unique haunted-house mazes.

The game, developed in partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment, allows users to help PAC-MAN chomp on dots while dodging colorful ghosts: Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde. Each haunted house maze is designed to reflect the personality of the ghost that haunts it.

“In celebration of Halloween, PAC-MAN is going trick-or-treating!” Google said in a statement. “Your mission is to guide him through eight levels, grab Power Pellets, and turn the tables on the ghosts!”

The Doodle is available for play today and tomorrow only, providing a nostalgic experience for fans of the classic arcade game. The special edition invites players to relive the excitement of PAC-MAN while enjoying a festive Halloween theme.

Users can access the game directly from the Google homepage, using arrow keys on their computer or handheld devices to navigate through the mazes. The initiative emphasizes Google’s focus on celebrating significant anniversaries in gaming and pop culture.
