Greater Anglia, a leading train service provider in the UK, has unveiled a series of reduced fares, known as Autumn Hare Fares, available for a limited time. These discounted tickets, with return fares set at £6, £12, £18, and £24, aim to encourage travel over the next three weeks.

Martin Moran, the commercial director at Greater Anglia, announced the initiative. “Travelling by train is cheaper than you think, and our new bargain Hare Fares mean people can travel for less,” Moran stated. The initiative includes a special offer where children can travel for £2 return, reinforcing Greater Anglia’s commitment to family-friendly travel options.

The Hare Fares must be booked by Tuesday, October 22, and cover travel dates from October 2 to December 2. These fares are standard off-peak day return tickets and can be purchased online via greateranglia.co.uk or through the Greater Anglia app. The timing of this offer coincides with the October half-term holiday, allowing families to plan affordable outings.

In addition to the Hare Fares, Greater Anglia is presenting a range of advance tickets that offer savings of up to 60-70% compared to standard walk-up prices. An added benefit includes two-for-one entry to numerous prominent attractions in London and East Anglia, which further increases the appeal of train travel during the discounted period.
