Two unidentified assailants on a motorbike unleashed gunfire outside the residence of popular Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the early hours of Sunday, causing a moment of panic in the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai.

The alarming incident, which transpired at approximately 4:51 am, saw the perpetrators discharge three rounds of ammunition before rapidly fleeing the scene in a bid to evade capture.

Fortunately, no individuals sustained injuries during the shooting, and there were no reported casualties. The security protocol around Salman Khan’s abode was promptly heightened following the brazen attack, with law enforcement swiftly responding to the volatile situation.

Law enforcement authorities, including the crime branch, local police, and forensic teams, swiftly descended upon the scene to launch a meticulous investigation into the targeted shooting. The forensic team meticulously retrieved the bullet casings discharged in the vicinity of Salman Khan’s residential compound, marking a crucial piece of evidence in the ongoing probe.

Notably, the motive behind this audacious attack appears to be linked to the menacing threats issued by notorious gangsters such as Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar, both of whom have previously indicated intentions to harm Salman Khan. Sources suggest that operatives affiliated with Bishnoi and Brar were dispatched to Mumbai with explicit instructions to eliminate the Bollywood luminary.

Recalling a prior instance of foiled aggression, it was disclosed that Lawrence Bishnoi’s associate, Sampat Nehra, had conducted reconnaissance activities around Salman Khan’s residence in 2018. However, Nehra’s plans were thwarted by the vigilant intervention of the Haryana Police, who managed to apprehend him before he could execute the perilous scheme. Nehra’s interrogation yielded substantial intelligence on the planned assault on Salman Khan.
