Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham delivered a moving rendition of “Time After Time” at the esteemed BAFTA Film Awards, adding a poignant touch to the British Academy’s renowned event.

Announced as a featured musical performer, Waddingham took the stage in an elegant black dress, singing alongside a touching tribute showcasing images of industry luminaries lost over the past year, such as Michael Gambon and Carl Weathers.

The 77th installment of the BAFTA Film Awards, emceed by the talented David Tennant, drew a star-studded crowd to London’s Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. Notable presenters included David Beckham, Cate Blanchett, Dua Lipa, Idris Elba, Hugh Grant, and Gillian Anderson.

Leading the pack of nominees at the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards is Christopher Nolan‘s historical epic “Oppenheimer” with x nominations, closely followed by Yorgos Lanthimos‘ dark comedy “Poor Things” with y nods. Martin Scorsese‘s crime drama “Killers of the Flower Moon” received nine nominations, tying with Jonathan Glazer‘s atmospheric thriller “Under the Skin.”

Netflix’s compelling antiwar drama “All Quiet on the Western Front” triumphed with a record-breaking number of nominations, securing seven wins at the BAFTAs, including prestigious accolades like Best Film, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
