Harris Faulkner Takes on New Role at Fox News, Set to Host ‘Fox News Tonight’
Harris Faulkner, a veteran anchor at Fox News, is set to embark on a new chapter in her career as she prepares to guest host the network’s primetime show, ‘Fox News Tonight’. This move follows the exit of Tucker Carlson from the network in late April. Faulkner, known for her insightful analysis and engaging hosting style, will take the helm of the 8 p.m. ET nightly timeslot from Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 9.
Faulkner is no stranger to prominent roles at Fox News. She currently hosts ‘The Faulkner Focus’ weekdays at 11 a.m. ET and co-hosts ‘Outnumbered’ weekdays at 12 p.m. ET alongside Kayleigh McEnany and Emily Compagno. Her new role makes her the second woman to host the primetime hour since Tucker Carlson’s departure, following her ‘Outnumbered’ co-host Kayleigh McEnany.
Other anchors who have filled in as hosts on ‘Fox News Tonight’ include Brian Kilmeade, Lawrence Jones, Will Cain, Trey Gowdy, and Johnny Joey Jones. Faulkner’s transition to this new role underscores her versatility and the trust Fox News has in her ability to engage and inform audiences during critical times.
In addition to her new hosting duties, Faulkner continues to be a key figure in Fox News’ coverage of major events, including the ongoing presidential campaign. Her show, ‘The Faulkner Focus’, has been a platform for discussing the latest developments and analyzing the strategies of candidates like Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
