Hawaii Cold Front Weather Radar Map 2025

HONOLULU, Hawaii — A cold front is set to sweep across Hawaii, bringing showers, isolated thunderstorms, and locally heavy rainfall early Wednesday morning through Thursday, according to Hawaii News Now.

The weather system, expected to arrive Wednesday, may produce thunderstorms and heavy downpours along the frontal boundary. However, the showers are predicted to clear quickly as moderate to breezy northwest winds usher in drier air and cooler temperatures.

Meteorologists anticipate the return of trade winds briefly on Friday and Saturday before another front approaches from the northwest, potentially disrupting the weather pattern again. Additionally, a new advisory-level northwest swell will build slowly through Wednesday, with a larger northerly reinforcement expected on Thursday.

Residents are advised to stay alert for sudden weather changes and potential localized flooding. The National Weather Service has not yet issued any formal warnings but continues to monitor the situation closely.
