HBO Announces New Cast Members for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

LOS ANGELES, CA — HBO has revealed exciting new cast members for the upcoming third season of the hit series “Euphoria,” which has been long awaited by fans. The announcement, made on February 14, 2025, confirmed that Grammy Award-winning singer Rosalía, actor Kadeem Hardison, and former NFL star Marshawn Lynch will be joining the cast alongside returning favorites such as Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and Hunter Schafer.
While much of the main cast will reprise their roles, fans learned that Nika King and Algee Smith will not return for the new season. Dominic Fike is also confirmed to return, despite his name missing from the official HBO announcement.
Zoe and Sam Levinson, the show’s creator, mutually decided not to bring back certain characters, indicating that their storylines had reached a natural conclusion. However, the anticipation surrounding Rosalía’s acting debut has generated a buzz, particularly given her past connection with Schafer.
Rosalía expressed her excitement in a statement: “If there’s anything that excites me as much as creating a good melody or writing a great lyric, it’s becoming a better performer every day. ‘Euphoria’ has been my favorite series over the last few years, and I couldn’t be happier and more grateful to be acting alongside all of these incredibly talented people that I admire so much.”
Lynch, known for his dynamic NFL career, has started building an acting portfolio that includes roles in HBO’s “Westworld” and the film “Bottoms.” His enthusiasm for joining “Euphoria” was evident in his comments: “I’m hella juiced about the show and getting a chance to work with the people in front and behind the camera. At the end of the day, I’m just thankful for the opportunity.”
Hardison, who previously worked with Zendaya on “K.C. Undercover,” celebrated the reunion: “I was over the moon when I heard the news that I booked it. It’s amazing to be back on set with Z. This is truly special.” He also shared gratitude towards the production returning to Los Angeles post-wildfires.
Behind the scenes, HBO is bringing in notable talent including Natasha Newman-Thomas as a costume designer and François Audouy as the production designer. New cast additions also include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the third season, expected to premiere in 2026, which will include a significant time jump in the narrative. The show has garnered a massive following and critical acclaim for its raw and honest portrayal of teenage life, addiction, and recovery.
